Pakistani Actress Photo Biography
Lollywoood is the informal term popularly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), Maharashtra, India. The term is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema; it is only a part of the total Indian film industry, which includes other production centers producing films in regional languages. Bollywood is the largest film producer in India and one of the largest centers of film production in the world.
Bollywood is formally referred to as Hindi cinema. There has been a growing presence of Indian English in dialogue and songs as well. It is common to see films that feature dialogue with English words (also known as Hinglish), phrases, or even whole sentences.
The naming scheme for "Bollywood" was inspired by "Tollywood", the name that was used to refer to the cinema of West Bengal. Dating back to 1932, "Tollywood" was the earliest Hollywood-inspired name, referring to the Bengali film industry based in Tollygunge, whose name is reminiscent of "Hollywood" and was the center of the cinema of India at the time.

Hot Pakistani Actress

Hot Pakistani Actress Biography
Most of the Karachi Jews now live in Ramla, Israel, Mumbai, India and Toronto, Canada and built a synagogue they named Magen Shalome after the Pakistani Synagogue in Ramla. Developments in the Middle East peace process such as the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza strip led to the first high level meeting between Israeli and Pakistani foreign ministers. The foreign ministers of both countries met publicly for the first time in Istanbul, a diplomatic breakthrough brokered by Turkey.
Rachel Joseph, the last Bene Israel Jew of Pakistan, left Karachi for Israel. There are no Bene Israel Jews remaining in Pakistan.
Dan Kiesel is a prominent Israeli Jew who was appointed by PCB. He worked for PCB for some time and then left it. His appointment brought some controversy; Pakistani politicians unsuccessfully objected to the hiring an Israeli Jew in the Senate of Pakistan.
The term "Yehudi" and its variants remains a word of serious derision when directed at a Bene Israel or anyone else.At the time of independence, some 1300 Jews remained in Karachi, most of them Bene Israel Jews observing Sephardic Jewish rites. The first real exodus of Jewish refugees from Pakistan to Bombay and other cities in India came just prior to the creation of Israel in 1948 when many Muslims, including Muhajir, committed violent and other antisemitic acts against the Bene Israel Jews of Karachi and other Jews in Pakistan. By 1953, less than 500 Jews were reported to be in all of Pakistan.
Anti-Jewish sentiment and violence often flared during ensuing conflicts in the Middle East, resulting in a further movement of Jewish refugees out of Pakistan.

Pakistani Actresses Hot

Pakistani Actresses Hot Biography
In 1956, Putli's family were visiting some relatives in Lahore, Pakistan, when a chance meeting with the well-known film director, Najam Naqvi, had her signed for his next project. He was searching for a new face for his film Kanwari Bewah (1956) and was blown away by her cute features, sweet voice, approachable personality and innocent yet inviting smile. It was Najam Naqvi who introduced her under the stage name Shamim Ara. Though the film did not attract many viewers, a noticeable new female star had appeared on the horizon of the Pakistan Film Industry.
Later, Shamim Ara was given a minor role in the film Anarkali (1958) starring the late Noor Jehan as Surayya, Anarkali's younger sister. For the next two years, Shamim Ara went on to star in a few films, but none were a major success at the box office. However, in 1960, a major role in the film Saheli is what truly advanced her career. By then, Shamim Ara had become a household name. The filming of the song Mujh Se Pehli Si Muhabbat Meray Mehboob Nah Maang (a poem written by Faiz Ahmed Faiz and recorded by Madam Noor Jehan) in the film Qaidi (1962), had everyone talking about her. Women had begun mimicking her speech, her make-up and her hairstyle. She had become a household name and the standard for beauty in Pakistan. Her fame and impeccable acting skills landed her the title character in the film Naela (1965), the first color film produced in the then West Pakistan. Her portrayal of the tragic Naela won her further critical acclaim. She went on to star in many hits including Devdas, Doraha, Humraz. However, Qaidi, Chingari, Firangi, Naela, Aag Ka Darya, Lakhon Mein Eik, Saiqa and Salgirah were landmarks in her career securing her position as the top actress of the 1960s in Lollywood. Her acting career came to a halt when she retired as a leading lady in the early 1970s but, that did not stop her from being a part of the Pakistani film industry as she pioneered to produce and direct films. However, none of those films reached the level of success Shamim Ara had at the height of her acting career.

Nargis Pakistani Actress

Nargis Pakistani Actress Biography
Nargis born 1974 is a Pakistani film actress and a stage dancer, whose real name is Ghazallah (meaning "a female deer"). She was born in Lahore. Her cast is Bhatti. Her fathers name is Idrees Bhatti and her brother is Khurram Idrees Bhatti. She is a well known Dancer of Pakistani filmi culture. She had the leading role in Idrees Khan's Aalmi Ghunde (Global Thugs), with a script written by Nasir Adeeb. Future roles in movies like Kuri Munda Razi and Kala Raj were type-cast, and her career and reputation as a solo star suffered as a result.
Playing the unusual role of a bald woman for Omar Sharif's Chand Babu, she shaved her head to better play the part. Her views are considered to be contrary to conservative Pakistani society; many see her as outspoken compared to social Pakistani norms. She had an affair with an underworld don of Pakistan, Abid Boxer. She went to Canada for quite a time when Abid Boxer tortured her and shaved her head, which in Pakistani society would be considered as very disgraceful for a lady.
She has appeared regularly in stage plays and theater musicals in Faislabad, Gojra and other cities throughout Pakistan. Her younger sister Deedar also appears on stage quite frequently. Nargis's recent film Sooha Jora ("Bridal Dress") was produced by her husband Zubair Shah.
